Snapfish for Lightroom is a useful and easy to understand piece of software designed to offer photographers and digital artists the means of transferring their work from Adobe Lightroom to the online photo service Snapfish.
The plugin is created to support all version of Lightroom from 2 upwards, including the latest one. In terms of target services, it can work not only with Snapfish itself, but also other co-branded websites, such as Virgin Media, Sky Broadband, Spectra online or Brack Electronics.
In order to install it, users need only to run the executable of Snapfish for Lightroom and after a quick and uneventful process, it enables users to start working with it right away, as it integrates with the image editor and lets users access it from its interface, from the export area.
It should be noted that in order to successfully work with it, users need to have a valid Snapfish account, as they will not only have to specify the access credentials, but also authorize the plugin to perform any upload operations.
When exporting one or more pictures, users can select the target from a drop-down menu, namely Snapfish, and then choose the service and input the username and password. The target album can then be indicated, and it can be either an existing or a new one.
Moreover, a series of options can be configured and customized for each task, from the same window. When the preferences for the operation are specified, users can click on the ‘Export’ button and this should start uploading their photos to the online photo service, a process that may take more or less time, depending on a variety of factors, including file size.
