RarmaRadio is an application that lets you listen to your favorite online radio stations and record the content with just a few clicks.
With a huge collection of radio stations from all over the world, RarmaRadio can record the stream in multiple formats, including MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA and FLAC, each coming with its very own settings.
The number of stations is indeed impressive and it's easy to find the one you want. If the fact that all stations are grouped by genre, network or region doesn't help, the search box placed right in the main window should do the job.
Once you find a station, the main window shows its name, genre, country, network, type, bitrate, comment, rating, date added and last played, while the bottom is being used for showing album art and song information.
Recording a song is easy as pie because you only need to right click a specific file and hit the “Record Current Song” option.
Another great thing about RarmaRadio is the fact that it lets you add your very own stations to the list, so you have to manually input all information, including URL, website, bitrate, name and genre.
RarmaRadio also sports a comprehensive settings center that allows you to juggle with its options, so you can enable Winamp Emulation Mode, cache playlist files, allow multiple streams, set up hotkeys for controlling the application a bit easier, configure network, fonts and mouse actions and much more.
The application works without a flaw on all Windows workstations as long as they are connected to the Internet, and keep in mind that the overall audio quality also depends on your Internet connection.
All in all, RarmaRadio is clearly an advanced app that does its job very well and provides a great amount of well-developed tools. Clearly a five-star product.
