cFos Outlook DAV is an Outlook add-in designed to help users synchronize their calendars, tasks and contact information on a CalDAV or a CardDav server in the cloud.
After setting it up, users just need to launch Outlook, so that the add-in can automatically sync the data on their computer with the information on the cloud. In case the synchronization fails due to temporary Internet connection drops, the add-in automatically attempts a sync after a user-defined interval of time.
Alternatively, users can access its core function from the ribbon, by clicking the corresponding button its dedicated section. Configuring the Calendar sync can be achieved through the configuration window by either creating a new folder and enabling the “Sync with CalDav” function or by selecting a pre-existing one.
Aside from Outlook calendar synchronization functions, this add-in also features sync support for tasks and contacts that users can turn to if they need to. Benefiting from the above abilities can be achieved in a similar way, by right-clicking the desired folder, choosing the dedicated option and setting certain parameters.
In order for the add-in to work as intended, users need to provide it with exact URL addresses and valid login credentials. However, task synchronization support for Google services is not an available feature.
cFos Outlook DAV allows users to retrieve updated data automatically from the sources they have defined. Each time the host application is launched, the add-in automatically fetches updates and integrates them within the users' calendar, tasks or contacts section, depending on the situation.
With cFos Outlook DAV you can set the synchronization interval in the 'Calendar Folder Setup' area.
