Anynone who owns a mobile phone nowadays needed at least once to copy or back up some files to or from their device. For the millions of Nokia mobile phone users one of the most appreciated solutions on the market is Oxygen Phone Manager II.
Installing this software is a straightforward task and all you have to do during setup is choose the preferred connectivity option you want to use. There are only three choices available, namely cable, irDA (infrared) and Bluetooth.
During our test we went for the latter option and the connection was established in no time. Transfer speeds aren't that great, though, since it's a wireless connection, so if you need to move lots of files fast the recommendation is to use the data cable.
Oxygen Phone Manager II has a pretty simple interface with a classic look. The phone contents is displayed on the left and it's very easy to back up messages, add new ringtones, synchronize the phonebook with Outlook or copy files from the phone.
As many would expect, the application comes with a pretty rich settings menu, with dedicated options for every single feature, so you might spend some time into this side of the program as well.
From the 'Options' area you can configure the contact export and import functions, the logo editor, as well as the SMS manager, calendar and flash card inserted in the mobile phone.
Overall, Oxygen Phone Manager II proves to be a viable alternative to similar applications by offering a very good set of features, ease of use and plenty of customizations.
