Kingdia DVD Ripper is a video conversion tool that can encode your DVDs to other video formats, like AVI, MPG, ASF and WMV.

The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can open a DVD via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).

In the list you can check out the source, time length and output name of each file. So, once you specify the output format and destination, you can proceed with the conversion process.

But you can also configure audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, resolution, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate, channels, volume and sample frequency rate.

The application takes up a moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a conversion job. No errors have popped up during our tests. On the other hand, Kingdia DVD Ripper failed to convert files on several occasions and froze a couple of times after we tried canceling tasks.

Moreover, the image quality is not very good and the video doesn't run smoothly. We strongly recommend you look for something a little more advanced than Kingdia DVD Ripper.
