Video Capturix is a Windows application designed to help users record video streams from their webcam, take snapshots, and create AVI files from the captured images.
The layout seems a bit crowded at a first glance, but this is only because the program comes packed with many dedicated parameters.
Video Capturix enables users to schedule the recording session, view the recorded files and images directly from the primary panel, add copyright information about AVI files, insert date, time, and title details into images, and create a clip using multiple images.
Video Capturix allows you to flip images, apply special effects (e.g. negative, greyscale, sharpen, emboss, solarize), copy photos to the Clipboard, and upload them to FTP servers.
Other important options worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to record the screen activity by picking the saving directory where the recorded files are stored, setting the capture mode (entering the coordinates or selecting a region with the mouse), recording in a full screen mode, and disabling the preview option.
What’s more, you can make the utility save the recorded file to AVI file format, or save the streams as separate photos (JPEG, BMP), and specify the frame rate.
When it comes to broadcasting your videos on the Internet, the program lets you set up the server parameters, and configure the video and audio device settings, while the audio and video conversion process can be carried out by uploading files to the list (AVI, MP3, WAV), and selecting the output format, video and audio compressor.
During our testing we have noticed that the tool offers very good image and video quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process.
Al in all, Video Capturix proves to be a reliable tool that bundles a handy set of features and is suitable for beginners and professionals alike.
