SuperAVConverter is a software that can encode between several video formats, including AVI, ASF, MPG, MOV, 3GP and MKV.
The interface of the program consists of a user-friendly window in which you can insert a video by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method is not supported).
Before doing so, you can set the output directory for all conversions, as well as select the number of threads of batch processing and the action to take after all conversions are finished (do nothing or shut down the computer).
So, you can use the wizard to specify the output format and configure settings when it comes to the video size, frame rate and bitrate, along with the audio sample frequency rate, bitrate, channels and volume amplifier.
Moreover, you can select the stretch mode (e.g. resize preserving the aspect ratio), split video mode (e.g. by time, target size or both), split parameters (start and end time) and optionally preview the cut piece.
In addition, you can set the output file size, add or modify a subtitle (e.g. search in the video directory automatically, specify a subtitle file), set an audio track and save the profile (so you can use it for other audio tracks).
Once you initiate the conversion process, you can view a progress bar. Overall, SuperAVConverter usesĀ a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality in the output files.
Unfortunately, the demo mode has some pretty harsh limitations and we cannot properly test the capabilities of this software. However, since SuperAVConverter looks promising, we strongly recommend you test this product for yourself.
