This is a software that you can use to extract the audio stream from video files and convert it to other formats, such as MP3, MP2, WMA, OGG and WAV. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
The interface of the application is plain and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch processing is not allowed in the unregistered version.
In the queue you can check out the source path, duration, start and end time, along with status of each video clip. Once you establish the output destination and file type, you can proceed with the encoding task.
Furthermore, you can configure audio settings when it comes to the bit rate, sample frequency rate, channel mode and volume.
But you can also grab a video from YouTube, remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue, enable the tool to automatically turn off the computer or to open the output directory after conversion, and others.
The audio processing tool requires a small amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and delivers a good sound quality in the output audio tracks. No errors have occurred during our testing and the program did not freeze or crash. There's also a comprehensive help file with snapshots that you can check out online. Too bad the interface is outdated. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Aya Video to MP3 / WMA / AAC / MP2 / WAV / OGG / M4A / AMR Converter to all users.
