Muxman is a lightweight Windows utility built specifically for helping you combine video and audio files, and subtitle items into a single package.
Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to perform muxing operations on the breeze.
Muxman sports a clean and straightforward interface that gives users the possibility to add files to the list by using the built-in browse function, so you cannot rely on the “drag and drop” support.
The application enables users to upload video files (MPEG), audio items (WAV, AC3, DTS), as well as SST or SUP files. What’s more, you can select the video source (PAL or NTSC), set the duration of the clips, and arrange the order of the items in the final package by moving them up or down.
Plus, you are allowed to select the language, specify the delay time, as well as edit the scenes by specifying the start and end time, and creating PGC items.
During our testing we have noticed that the application carries out a task quickly and without errors throughout the entire process.
All things considered, Muxman comes packed with handy parameters when it comes to perform muxing operations. On the downside, the entire process is not very intuitive, and since it lacks a help manual, rookies may spend some time trying to configure the dedicated parameters.
