NUR Translator is a Metro app made for computers running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, which gives you the possibility to translate words and phrases between eight languages: English, French, German, Kazakh, Latvian, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian. It facilitates a user-friendly interface and needs an active Internet connection to work.

Once downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store, the tool gets integrated into the Start Menu of Windows 10 and Start Screen of Windows 8/8.1, so you can access it like any other Metro app. It has a large window with a flat look and two boxes for entering text and viewing the translation.

You can select the source and output languages from two dropdown menus. The translation is not performed in real time (as you type), as it's necessary to click a button. There a button available for swapping the two languages, sparing you the trouble of picking them again from the menus, along with another one for clearing history, which is accessible from the "App Commands" menu. All translated words and the two languages are recorded to history by NUR Translator.

There is no option implemented for saving text to file. On the other hand, you can select and copy it by triggering the Ctrl+C combination or by opening the right-click menu.

Thanks to the built-in Windows features, it's possible to switch to fullscreen mode and share the app with friends by sending a message or email, through OneNote or Twitter, or other means of communication.

The app had minimal impact on the computer's performance, running on low CPU and RAM. It translated text rapidly and remained stable throughout its runtime. However, it doesn't work without an active Internet connection.
